Caney Mountain Horse Camp
Welcome!
Caney Mountain Horse Camp offers horseback riders some of the finest, most varied, and spectacular riding opportunities in the Ozarks. Our camp is surrounded by the Sylimore National Forest, Lower Buffalo River Wilderness Area and Leatherwoods Wilderness Area.
Our central location offers year-round riding opportunities for riders of all skill levels with direct access to scenic trails from the campground. Ride on beautiful forest trails and old logging roads. View the scenic creeks, bluffs, rims, and overlooks. Ride past springs, waterfalls, caves, as well as the Buffalo River. Each season offers an ever changing scenery with beautiful mountain views, rock bluffs, wildflowers, and wild life.
Our campground offers; room rentals, level camp sites, large horse pens set up near each site, drinking water for horses, and a heated bath house. Our campground is accessible by forest service maintained roads, and can accommodate large horse trailers.
