Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can my 50' truck/horse trailer make it to
your camp ground?
A: Yes, the roads are wide enough for semi-trucks to make it
easily. There is plenty of room in the camp ground too.
Q: Do you offer electrical and water
hook-ups for our trailer?
A: No, but there is water for horses available at the heated bath house.
Q: Do you offer guide service for riding in
the wilderness areas?
A: National Forest Service regulations specifically preclude us from
offering paid guide services in the wilderness areas. However, we ride
virtually everyday and love showing our guests around.
Q: How many horses can each campsite
accommodate?
A: Our normal campsites are set up for two horses. With advanced
notice we can set up more corral panels.
Q: What documents do I need for my horses?
A: Each horse must have the original yellow copy of the Coggins (EIA)
test dated within 12 months of your departure from Caney Mountain Horse
Camp.
